Named ‘Cambria’ after the latinised Welsh name for Wales, it is the winter house at the British Hills Arcane Academy.
Encapsulating the rich heritage of Welsh tradition, House Cambria embodies the serene and contemplative spirit of winter. The house's emblem, a snowflake, symbolises the beauty found in quiet strength and resilience. Its motto, "Hiems Sapientia" (The Wisdom of Winter), reflects the house's commitment to cultivating deep understanding and thoughtful reflection. House Cambria provides an environment where students are encouraged to think critically, embrace their independence, and approach challenges with a measured and patient mindset, all while honouring the rich cultural heritage that inspires them.
